昨日、２０１１年６月２６日 第５８回富山市北部方面団消防操法大会があり、私も小型ポンプ操法 ３番員として出場し見事優勝いたしました。操法とは、消火動作のスピード、正確さ、規律、などを競うことで消防団の甲子園とも呼ばれています。よく見かけるポンプ車（いわゆる消防車）を使ったポンプ車操法、持ち運びに便利な（といっても１００ｋｇ近くあるかなあ）小型ポンプ操法があり、我が倉垣分団は、大会が近づくと毎朝４時４５分から６時まで練習をしています。その成果が出て小型ポンプ操法の部で見事大会新記録の４３秒の記録にて優勝できました。引き続き富山市大会が７月１０日に消防学校にて行われるのでその上の県大会出場を目指してまた、練習の日々がつづきます。
